Equal Voice is Community Empowerment Network which exists to share information about key policies, to raise issues of concern and to promote events and activities about race. The network aims to highlight issues affecting people from black and racial minority communities in Sefton and feed this information into relevant decision-making bodies such as the Sefton Borough partnership.

It will also act as a staff support mechanism for workers within Sefton.

Equal Voice aims...

- To discuss matters affecting black and racial minroty community members in Sefton, including the work of the Sefton Borough Partnership

- To increase the involvement and contribution of under-represented community members in decision-making, and promote and support the development services which are inclusive and appropriate for people from all cultures and backgrounds

- To promote issues of importance to black and racial minorty community members and inform the agenda of Sefton Borough partnership and other key bodies.
